The Hitachi Advanced Server DS120 combines a balance of computing and storage capacity with the ability to support a wide range of solutions and applications. It is optimised for performance, high density, and power economy. The DS120 supports up to 12 2.5-inch non-volatile memory express (NVMe), serial-attached SCSI (SAS), serial-ATA (SATA), hard disc drives (HDD), or solid-state drives that are hot-pluggable and front-side accessible. It is possible to configure I/O expansion and controller modules using the low-profile PCIe 4.0 expansion slots, mezzanine slots, and OCP NIC 3.0 slots that are provided.
