The Hitachi Advanced Server DS7000 series scalable servers increase density and memory capacity while remaining modular and easy to use. The Hitachi DS7000 uses the UPI Intel protocol, Intel Xeon Scalable CPUs, and the Intel C627 Chipset. Every server is 2U tall and has five PCIe slots and two sockets that may accommodate up to twelve RAM modules each (either five PCIex8 or two PCIex16 plus one PCIex8).
