Hitachi NAS Platform (HNAS) SMU 300

The servers and clusters of the Hitachi NAS Platform and the Hitachi HUS File Module storage systems are managed by the Hitachi NAS Platform (HNAS) SMU 300, a 1U rack-mounted device.
In the event of hardware issues, the full SMU should be replaced because HDS does not permit component replacement.
If you can connect to the SMU via an ssh session, you can retrieve a backup and copy the backup contents straight to your laptop as an alternative to uploading the SMU backup file via a USB stick.
