The entry-level Hitachi Thunder 9580V Disk Array enterprise system, which is a part of the Hitachi Thunder 9500V Series, offers 2,048 LUNs, 1,024 Virtual Storage Ports with safe multi-tenancy, 64TB of raw capacity, and 7.4 Gigabytes per second of cached bandwidth. The 9580V disc array's tiny, modular design lets customers add additional disc modules as needed to increase capacity and performance. The exclusive copy-on-write snapshot software from Hitachi QuickShadowTM lowers the amount of storage needed for data protection. To reduce downtime during transitions, HiCopyTM cross-system replication enables simple data movement between Thunder 9500 V Series and Lightning 9900 V Series storage systems.
